Yes, raw mango pickle is a basic in every Indian household. We have always loved raw mango pickle which our Naani and Daadi made, cannot match the taste of those pickles. Remember going to vacations and coming back with a huge jar of mango pickle that lasted months.
Today’s recipe is one of my favorite pickle recipes- and its ready in minutes and that’s the best part. It takes very less time for the preparations. A perfect recipe for summer, since it is the season for raw mangoes.
How to Make Mango Pickle
Mango Pickle Recipe
- 1 Raw Mango Medium Size
- 1/3 Cup Achaar Masala
- 1 Tbsp Cooking Oil
- 1/4 Tsp Asafetida Skip if you are using without tempering
- In small pan heat oil. The oil should be medium hot. Once done switch off the flame.
- Immediately add asafetida and achaar masala and mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl full of chopped raw mango pieces. Mix well so the masala infuses well.
- Now serve in a bowl.
