Ingredients

  • 2 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Cooking Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Fenugreek leaves Finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Black pepper Crushed
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Heat a pan and add oil.
  • Once the oil is hot add freshly chopped fenugreek/methi.
  • On a low-medium flame roast methi until it is crispy. Switch off the flame and let it cool down.
  • In the next step add all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl, crushed black pepper, crush carom seeds in your palm and add it, salt to taste and mix all dry ingredients together.
  • Next, add roasted methi along with the oil into the dry mixture and mix well with hands.
  • Now add water accordingly to make a tight dough. Cover it with a lid and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes knead it again for a few seconds and prepare chakhla and a rolling pin.
  • Now by taking a handful of dough in your palms flatten it and then roll it outwards on chakhla flattening it simultaneously.
  • Now using a round cookie cutter cut through the roti and make several of these.
  • Prick the round shapes with the help of a fork.
