Heat a pan and add oil.
Once the oil is hot add freshly chopped fenugreek/methi.
On a low-medium flame roast methi until it is crispy. Switch off the flame and let it cool down.
In the next step add all-purpose flour in a mixing bowl, crushed black pepper, crush carom seeds in your palm and add it, salt to taste and mix all dry ingredients together.
Next, add roasted methi along with the oil into the dry mixture and mix well with hands.
Now add water accordingly to make a tight dough. Cover it with a lid and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
After 15 minutes knead it again for a few seconds and prepare chakhla and a rolling pin.
Now by taking a handful of dough in your palms flatten it and then roll it outwards on chakhla flattening it simultaneously.
Now using a round cookie cutter cut through the roti and make several of these.
Prick the round shapes with the help of a fork.
