Firstly, apply butter on the tawa.
Once the butter melts then roast 3 bread slices.
As the one side roasts, apply butter on the other side of the bread. Repeat with other two slices.
Cut the bread slices in a rectangular shape, and size can vary according to your choice
Transfer the rectangular bread pieces into a bowl.
Let’s heat the pan and add the butter again.
Melt the butter on low heat and avoid overheating.
Next, add the mustard seeds, sesame seeds, asafetida, thinly chopped ginger and garlic, and green chilies.
Now, mix all the ingredients and cook it for half or a minute.
Add the chopped onions and salt to taste.
Mix the ingredients, cook for another minute.
Once the onion turns soft, add the capsicums, tomatoes, salt, and ¼ tsp chaat masala.
Cook on the medium heat and until tomatoes are cooked well.
Next, add the toasted bread pieces in the pan along with chili flakes and chaat masala.
Mix all ingredients well.
Add the salt if need be.
Cook for another minute and if you want the bread to be soggy, cook for another minute with the lid on.
Sprinkle the chopped coriander and now the bread Poha is ready to turn off the flame
