Dadpe Pohe Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flattened rice Poha thin variety
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Peanuts Ground Nuts
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Blanched Peas
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh coconut grated
  • Curry leaves Few
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves Finely chopped
  • 1/2 Tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 3-4 Green Chili Crushed/Sliced
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar Salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl with Poha, add water and wash it once and strain it.
  • In a mixing bowl add chopped onion and salt and mix to release the moisture
  • Now add boiled peas, chopped chilies, and drained out Poha, again add salt to taste
  • Next, add sugar and mix all ingredients well.
  • Heat a pan, pour in oil, and once the oil is hot add mustard seeds, once they splutter.
  • Add peanuts and roast them on medium flame.
  • Add curry leaves, mix and turn off the flame.
  • Now add this tempering on the Poha mixture.
  • Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves, grated coconut, and blend everything well.
  • The colorful looking dadpe pohe is ready.
