In a mixing bowl add flour, turmeric powder, and red chili powder, ajwain crushed in palm, salt to taste, 1 tsp oil, and mix all ingredients.
Now add water accordingly and knead soft dough.
Add oil again and knead it again. Cover it with a plate and set it aside for 10 minutes.
Heat a thick bottomed steel vessel, and pour oil, mustard seed now add fenugreek seeds, asafetida, chopped green chili, peanuts, and roast the content for a minute.
Now add chopped tomatoes, powder, now add boiled dal and mix well on full flame.
Now add warm water mix and next add kokum, 1 tsp salt, now add jaggery and cook until it comes to a boil.
Let move on to next part. Take a ball of dough, dust in flour and with the help of rolling pin, flatten it out make it thinner. Prepare more roti similarly.
Now with help of a cutter, cut the raw rotis into diamond shapes.
Next, on full flame, add the diamond shape roti pieces into a boiling dal.
Let it cook and stir occasionally for 15 minutes.
Piping hot Dal dhokla is ready to be served.
